How Much Temazepam Does It Take To Kill You

Happy Valentine!

The popular voice has made this holy patron saint of lovers, possibly because during this time in the Nordic countries or because birds mate, according to tradition, at the time that Valentine lived in the which the Christian religion was persecuted, he, secretly, married couples under the ritual of the Church. Some believe it is a Christianized pagan holiday, as in ancient Rome was by this time the worship of the god of love, whose name was Eros and whom many have been sympathetic to call Cupid. Also, and for many centuries, it was traditional in England (it is estimated that over the centuries XVII and XVIII) the "party of valentines", where men and women chose to form couples. At any rate, almost Valentine's surprise, is the patron of all lovers and all those who want to have a girlfriend or a friend to accompany them not just in movies, to the club or to dinner but also to raise a family "to be happily ever after."

Valentine is very popular especially in English speaking countries: the United States and Britain and in much of the entire European continent. Unfortunately, large shopping centers to take advantage of 14 February (date of the saint's name day) a great day of consumerism, Christmas style, and a week before the party and advertise all its products as it's the end of the world.

But ... who was Saint Valentine? The truth is that there is very little of it. We know he was a priest who was born in Rome in mid-third century and enjoyed great prestige in that city to the point that the emperor Claudius II invited him to his palace for a conversation and thus know why he fame. According to tradition, Valentine took that occasion to make "propaganda" of the Christian religion and convince the emperor to follow in the footsteps of Jesus. Although at first Claudius II was attracted to the religion that the Romans pursued the soldiers and the Governor of Rome, Calpurnius, was forced to withdraw, and organized a campaign against our holy. Claudio had no choice but to turn back and sent it processed Calpurnius. But that mission would carry out the lieutenant governor, Asterius. When he was brought before him, he scoffed at Christianity and Valentin tested. Under a mocking tone, he asked if I could restore sight to his daughter who was blind from birth. Valentine accepted and in the name of the Lord worked the miracle. Asterius and his entire family converted to Christianity, but Valentine's martyrdom was not spared, as fearing a rebellion of the Roman army and the pagan, the Emperor had him executed. The year was 270.

The mortal remains of St. Valentine are now preserved in the Basilica of the same name which is located in the Italian city of Terni. Every February 14 is celebrated in this temple, an act of commitment by the different partners who want to join in marriage the following year.
